Lean and Push
This is one of the most common and effective soccer moves. All players, from youth through Premier League professionals, use the outside of their feet to fake going one way in order to go the other way in a fluid change of direction. With plenty of variations, it can be used throughout a game to always keep your defender guessing/unbalanced/confused.
Matthews - Drag Flick
This soccer move is used to fake a defensive player into thinking you are going one way but really you are moving in the opposite direction.
Zig Zag
1. Do each cycle 7 times. There and back is one cycle. Do this for both moves provided.
2. Dribble 5 yards, use an attacking move, dribble to the next cone and repeat the move, repeat until the end of the zig zag. Stope, then turn around and go back in the same zig zag shape. You should alternate feet for your move at each cone. Fake toward the cone you're at and push away from there toward the next.
Practice Time – 12 Minutes
Practice each soccer skill on its own for 2 Minutes
1. Shuffles
2. Sole Rolls
3. Sole Roll Stop
4. Box Sole Roll
5. Box - Sole Roll - Stop
Take a break between each skill for 30 seconds
Practice Time – 12 Minutes
1. Dribble to the side cone and use an attacking move.
2. Dribble to and around the top cone.
3. Dribble straight back to and around the starting cone.
4. Dribble to the other side cone and use an attacking move.
5. Dribble to and around the top cone.
6. Dribble straight back to the starting cone and stop the ball.
Start the timer with your first touch of the ball and stop the timer when the ball stops at the final yellow cone. Start from the right or left side. 5 Timed Trials MAX per Session. Submit your best score from the week.
Juggling
1. Start the soccer ball from the ground if/when your record is 10+
2. Unlimited attempts – PRACTICE BEING GREAT!
3. Submit your best score from the week.
